,Raynor Ergohuman The Raynor Ergohuman series was designed primarily for people who sit in their chairs for long periods of time working long hours. The design may not win any artsy awards, but its customizable components, add-ons, and independent control over the seat height, arm height, headrest, and rocker tension are impressive. Many of you praised the breathable mesh and leather upholstery, high back, and comfortable headrest. The Ergohuman also features a slightly wider seat pan than most other chairs, perfect for...wider butts, as it were.
If you’re anything like me, you love looking at photos of large open plan office spaces. For some reason the symmetry of the repeating desks, lamps, chairs, and rows is really pleasing to the eye. I work in a small 4-person office, which is technically an open layout, but if you saw a photo of it it just wouldn’t have the same effect. While I do understand that open plan workspace layouts are not for every person, every company type, or every office – but whose to say we can’t look at some inspiring photos of them? Here are a few of my favorites, which for the most part are larger applications of open plan design. Hudson Rouge luxury brand advertising agency Hudson Rouge uses a bright, open plan office space. The designers explain of the space, “The main workspace is an open-plan studio focused around formal and informal meeting and collaboration areas.

If you’re like me, your home office is the neglected space of your home décor. I used to keep my home office relatively bare since I focused my style efforts on the living room, master bedroom and alike – since these where they place I entertain guest and hang out in the most. Once I put some time and effort into making my home office more inviting and comfortable, I started spending more time in there. And, guess what? I started getting more work done. One of the easiest and most affordable ways to update your office is painting. With so many home office paint color ideas out there, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites and elaborate on how they can physiologically and stylistically improve your home office experience. Gorgeous Dark Gray This deep gray color is a game changer. I’m sure you have noticed over the last few year how popular grey has become for home décor and paint, and for good reason. It’s the new, modern natural and pairs well with nearly any color and most wood grains.
