The design allows maximum daylight penetration into the open studio through unobstructed views to the north, south and west. Even office and team rooms transparent are enclosed with frameless glass fronts, leaving clear sightlines to the rest of the office. In combination, the open workspace plan and expansive views evoke the sense of ideation and visioning that is essential to Hudson Rouge’s creative aspirations. Kixeye San Francisco-based gaming company Kixeye has a much smaller scale open plan office space for its team. To mitigate noise the design includes echo-reducing panels on the ceiling as well as offers company-provided headphones for staff. Collaborative whiteboards are also nearby to help employees work together. One Workplace is a furniture dealer that uses their office as both a workplace and showroom. The 25,000 sqft open plan warehouse gives the company the ability to show off the latest styles of design and test out what works in a real workspace, which helps enhance their services to customers.
Whether you use your home office for freelance work, a telecommuting job, or for simply paying the household bills, creating an environment that is inviting and productive is a must. If you’re like me, your home office is the neglected space of your home décor. I used to keep my home office relatively bare since I focused my style efforts on the living room, master bedroom and alike – since these where they place I entertain guest and hang out in the most. Once I put some time and effort into making my home office more inviting and comfortable, I started spending more time in there. And, guess what? I started getting more work done. One of the easiest and most affordable ways to update your office is painting. With so many home office paint color ideas out there, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites and elaborate on how they can physiologically and stylistically improve your home office experience. Gorgeous Dark Gray This deep gray color is a game changer. I’m sure you have noticed over the last few year how popular grey has become for home décor and paint, and for good reason. It’s the new, modern natural and pairs well with nearly any color and most wood grains.
Grays are known for their ability to evoke emotions of security, reliability, intelligence, and organization – all very good feelings for a home office. Lovely Light Green How soft and clean is this lovely light green wall? This soft seafoam green color creates a minimalist feel while providing some color but not overwhelming the room. It is the perfect color to get inspired and feel renewed, which is what greens are known to do. By only painting one wall and leaving the others and the adjacent cabinet’s white, they have opened up the possibilities of styling the room with a sophisticated neutral palette. We found Easy Green to be a good match. Chic Blush Pink This work space has me tickled pink. What chic girl, wouldn’t want to use this space for writing, studying, or just being effortlessly fabulous? What keeps it from looking like it belongs in a little girl’s bedroom is its dusty undertones – I feel like I am looking at an Arizona sunset on this wall.
